Your Opportunity:
This Service Worker I opportunity supports the Maternal Child units at the Red Deer Regional Hospital. Labor and Delivery, Obstetrical Operating Room, Postpartum, Pediatrics and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
Description:
As a Service Worker I, you will be responsible for transporting patients (clients/residents) and equipment to and from different patient care areas within a hospital site. You will distribute and replenish hospital supplies throughout the units and clean equipment and patient care areas as directed. You may also transport lab specimens, blood and blood products, and patient charts. You will report any concerns regarding supplies and safety issues to Unit Managers and perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent.

As required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Inter-professional communication, Patient/family/client/community centered care, ability to balance demands and conflicting priorities. Ability to work within a team environment and effectively contribute to unit processes.
