The Opportunity


Superior Forklift is looking for an organized and customer service-oriented Service Dispatcher to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As the Service Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in the successful coordination of Service jobs, including scheduling and assigning work to Technicians, and ensuring that the services we provide meet or exceed the needs of our internal and external customers.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


As the Service Dispatcher, your key responsibilities will include:


  • Scheduling, coordinating, and assigning jobs for Service Technicians
  • Managing new and ongoing work orders using an ERP system
  • Utilizing the service scheduler to prioritize and schedule appointments
  • Communicating with Service and Parts team members to ensure workloads are maximized, and customer needs are managed proactively
  • Owning incoming leads using established programs and processes
  • Maintaining ongoing and professional customer communication throughout the course of each repair job
  • Managing the WIP Report and billing for customers, including reviewing invoice proposals for accuracy
  • Ensuring adherence to all safety programs and initiatives, and ensuring any necessary incident reports are completed


Required Skills & Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:


  • Previous dispatching and/or scheduling experience
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills, planning skills, and multitasking ability
  • A customer service mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to think outside of the box to solve problems and satisfy customer needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with internal and external customers at all levels
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

The base pay range for this role is: $55,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience.


This is an onsite role based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
