This role includes 24/7 on-call support, ensuring families have access to care when they need it. You’ll also collaborate with community agencies to implement recommendations that build resilience and healing. Additional Requirements
The incumbent is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines.
The incumbent must be registered with an accredited professional association or body.
Employees must hold a class five (5) novice two (2) or higher driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our commercial auto insurance policy.
Wage Range: Bachelor Degree $70,158.40 to $90,667.20 Annually
Masters Degree $82,825.60 to $ 107,078.40 Annually.

Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Master’s degree in social work or a related human services field.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience working with children, youth, and families and experience providing group and family counselling.
- Experience working independently with diverse populations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, mentor, and support clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal and external partners.
- Proficiency in assessment, counseling, and service planning for individuals, couples, and families.
- Understanding of child development, parenting strategies, and diverse therapeutic models, especially around mental health, addiction, trauma, family reunification, and preservation.
- Familiarity with clinical assessment tools that evaluate family functioning and address specific needs.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships based on trust.
- Empathy, patience, and a client-centered approach that honors each family’s unique strengths and challenges.
- Ability to think critically, adapt to new situations, and manage high-risk situations with sound decision-making.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and learning.
- Proficiency in digital tools for documentation and communication.
Services
- Collaborate with families and stakeholders to co-create individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies.
- Lead the implementation of treatment plans, ensuring all documentation is complete and feedback is shared with relevant parties.
- Provide education, support, and counseling to participants, offering intensive individual, family, and couples therapy.
- Conduct risk assessments that cover areas such as family safety, child welfare, mental health, domestic violence, and addictions.
- Collaborate with family members to create safety plans that leverage personal and community resources.
- Assess and respond to suspected or confirmed cases of abuse and develop safety and protective plans.
- Lead planning conferences, consultations, and meetings with healthcare and social service professionals.
- Facilitate holistic aftercare planning, working closely with families and community agencies to support long-term success.
- Provide 24/7 therapeutic on-call crisis support and deliver follow-up care to promote post-crisis recovery.
- Guide the therapeutic environment of the program, providing training and education sessions when needed.
- Ensure that all casework documentation is clear, accurate, timely, and compliant with agency standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Set the direction of the treatment program, incorporating quality improvements and reflective practice.
- Share knowledge and provide training to support team development and client care.
- Guide program staff in delivering clinical services aligned with treatment plans and crisis management practices.
- Collaborate with community agencies, sharing effective treatment strategies and supporting aftercare plans.
- Oversee adjunct therapies and clinical resources within a designated budget.
- Collaborate with community resources and support fiscal planning for client needs, special programs, or events.
- Maintain, promote, and reinforce safe work habits, practices, and procedures.
- Adhere to written or verbal agency and government regulations, policies, practices, and instructions.
