Position Summary
The Inventory Control Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of inventory management processes within our manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for coordinating daily inventory tasks, managing material transfers, and ensuring accurate tracking of manufacturing orders. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary
The Inventory Control Analyst plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of inventory management processes within our manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for coordinating daily inventory tasks, managing material transfers, and ensuring accurate tracking of manufacturing orders. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
Duties Include (but Are Not Limited To)
- Communicate daily inventory tasks and collaborate with internal departments to optimize manufacturing order schedules
- Generate efficient picking sequences and manage material transfers to support production needs
- Monitor and resolve inventory shortages in coordination with Manufacturing Planners and Material Planners
- Provide timely updates on manufacturing order statuses and ensure accurate processing of sales orders
- Oversee material handling tasks, including put-away, picking, and finished goods receipts
- Conduct variance transactions with proper GL coding and maintain accurate records of warehouse activities
- Perform regular audits, including monthly bin audits and year-end counts, to verify inventory accuracy and compliance with safety guidelines
- Ensure adherence to Electrostatic Discharge Control (ESD) and First-In-First-Out (FIFO) material handling processes
- Collaborate with various departments to troubleshoot daily issues and drive improvements in performance and productivity
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 6 years in warehouse material handling
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (including spreadsheet creation and data interpretation), and relevant in-house programs
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with strong decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Vecima products is an asset
