Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing and upholding performance testing initiatives while adhering to industry best practices. Your expertise will contribute to the overall quality assurance process, ensuring that our applications meet defined scope and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain performance testing initiatives, ensuring compliance with established best practices.
  • Complete QA deliverables as specified in the Deliverable Assessment Framework, effectively managing these activities within the framework of project or maintenance release plans.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to guarantee the quality of applications.
  • Uphold compliance with government IT policies, procedures, and security standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engage in regular communication with Project and Team Representatives, and actively participate in quality review sessions.
  • Stay informed about project direction, attending team status meetings and relevant working group meetings.
  • Work in collaboration with various IT resources during the design, development, and implementation phases of IT projects and releases.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer with existing QA team members at the end of the assignment.
  • Create user documentation and procedures as necessary.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in performance testing and adherence to best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of government IT policies and security standards.
  • Competent in developing user documentation and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in Quality Assurance roles.
  • A solid background in performance testing and QA methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related fields; experience with government IT projects is advantageous.
