MPE is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team in our Saskatoon office

Your Contribution
As a Civil Engineering Technologist, y our main responsibilities will be:
- Complete the design and drafting of civil/water resource infrastructure. Projects may involve earthworks, dams, canals, pipelines, site grading, and drainage systems.
- Complete field surveys utilizing RTK GPS equipment. Duties may include topographic, bathymetric, construction layout surveys, and quantity surveys.
- Complete site inspection and resident engineering duties throughout construction phase of projects. Duties may include inspections, daily reporting, quantity takeoffs, and ensuring work is in accordance with Drawings and Specifications.
- Work closely with engineers, technologists and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of civil/water resource projects from conceptual design to construction.
- Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
Your Profile
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
- 0-5 years of experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software.
- Proficiency with GPS survey technology
- Interest or experience in Water Resources would be considered an asset.
- Previous field work considered an asset
- Being registered or be eligible for registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to work in a team environment.
- Show an aptitude for general construction methods.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work in the field for extended periods of time.
