About the Team: Reporting to the Manager of Health and Safety, the Health and Safety Specialist will play a key role in developing, implementing, and enhancing the SSENSE Health & Safety program. This role involves collaborating with teams across Fulfillment Centers, Retail, Studio, Headquarters, as well as vendors and contractors, to analyze needs, assess risks, and create tools and resources that promote a safe and healthy work environment.

  • Look into incidents and accidents, follow up, and suggest ways to prevent them in the future.
  • Create and update procedures and instructions, track how they’re being implemented, and propose improvements like training, Safety Committees, and audits.
  • Spot and report compliance issues, safety risks, and opportunities for improvement by conducting regular audits and preparing reports using health and safety data.
  • Partner with internal teams to make sure we meet all Workmen's Compensation Board regulations and requirements.


 How To Excel In This Role:

  • 2-4 years of experience in EHS roles supporting large teams.
  • Solid understanding of Quebec laws and regulations about workplace accidents and illnesses.
  • Ability to lift boxes up to 15kg.
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both spoken and written.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, nights, and overtime.
