Intermediate Bridge Technologist

MatchBox Consulting Group is on the hunt for an Intermediate Bridge Technologist in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs, estimates, and working drawings based on instructions or initial sketches and diagrams.
• Recommend design improvements, modifications, and simplifications to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate project deliverables and develop basic to mid-level designs and layouts, including basic design calculations.
• Complete construction drawings using 3D modeling software and ensure accuracy in project documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, balancing design requirements with practical construction considerations.

Requirements

• ASET membership (required) with bridge and transportation project experience.
• Skilled in producing structural drawings (concrete and steel).
• Knowledge of civil/structural construction practices.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Alberta Transportation standards (preferred).
