What will your typical day look like?
The Specialist/Senior Specialist, Canadian Boardroom Program will be responsible for providing strong tactical support for all aspects of the Canadian Boardroom Program and other focused areas. Working closely with the Program Manager and other members of the team, this role provides a unique opportunity to grow strategic thinking/planning skills, strengthen project and event delivery capabilities, understand how to plan, design, build, and execute national strategies, with an opportunity to interface with senior stakeholders across the firm.

The Boardroom Program is part of the National Relationships Office, a passionate team whose portfolio includes incredible relationship offerings such as Executive Accelerators, Greenhouse, Voice of Client, Marketing & Eminence, along with our Vice Chair community. We collaborate with leaders and colleagues within our function and across the firm, serving as connectors who explore and experiment with humility and curiosity, to advance our client and organizational objectives.

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $96,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. What will your typical day look like?
The Specialist/Senior Specialist, Canadian Boardroom Program will be responsible for providing strong tactical support for all aspects of the Canadian Boardroom Program and other focused areas. Working closely with the Program Manager and other members of the team, this role provides a unique opportunity to grow strategic thinking/planning skills, strengthen project and event delivery capabilities, understand how to plan, design, build, and execute national strategies, with an opportunity to interface with senior stakeholders across the firm.
Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the execution of program strategies and plans based on priorities identified by Executive Sponsors
- Providing robust and proactive support in various operational aspects, such as list management, event tracking, budget monitoring, and aiding in reporting and data analytics to optimize decision-making and enhance program outcomes.
- Acting as national liaison for Director-level event activities taking place in various Deloitte offices across Canada
- Working with marketing agency resources to ensure deliverables for program activations are provided on time and that program leaders are kept engaged on the approval process
- Supporting the development of executive-level deliverables and presentations
- Building relationships and driving continuous alignment with relevant leaders and teams
- Actively looking for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness, being comfortable making recommendations to leaders and participating in follow-through to implementation.
- Defining, measuring, and reporting on KPIs – including aggregating, synthesizing, and extracting insights from data to support decision-making and assessment of program outcomes.
- Taking ownership for tasks and deliverables, with the ability to understand implications of findings and next steps.

You are a professional with:
- A minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in a marketing, consulting, hospitality, event, administrative or customer service role; experience with high profile audience considered an asset.
- Strong communication and comprehension skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to translate vision/direction into executable programs and activities.
- Strong project management experience, with the ability to simultaneously manage and deliver on multiple projects in a fast-paced, results-oriented and client-focused environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and client service skills – confident and comfortable working with senior leaders, with an ability to network and build deep connections.
- High attention to detail and task orientation with a solution-driven mindset when faced with challenges.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze data and proactively produce recommendations to ensure operational efficiency.
- Self-motivated, with demonstrated proficiency at effectively working both individually and as part of a team.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); an aptitude for learning and utilizing new technology and tools; prior experience with event platforms and applications such as Cvent, SpotMe, Zoom, etc. is an asset.
