The Continuing Education (CE) Accreditation Specialist works with the Senior Continuing Education Accreditation Specialist in supporting the Proficiency department’s CE accreditation functions.

Day in the life of:
The Continuing Education (CE) Accreditation Specialist works with the Senior Continuing Education Accreditation Specialist in supporting the Proficiency department’s CE accreditation functions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manages internal and external tracking of CE accreditation requests, including internal logs and updates on the CIRO website.
- Reviews CE accreditation requests, makes recommendations relating to applications and communicates with applicants.
- Responds to internal and external CE-related inquiries, in consultation with other Registration or Proficiency Staff as needed.
- Liaises with other Registration or Proficiency Staff to provide information on CE-related follow-ups and reporting; and drafts resulting process documents.
- Manages the payment website and reconciles payments with Finance
- Assists the Department with its proficiency and CE objectives.
Must-Haves
- Proficient on NRD (National Registration Database).
- Good working knowledge of CIRO registration, proficiency, and CE requirements.
- Excellent judgment and tact when dealing with members and the public.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Good analysis and problem solving, including using initiative to suggest enhancements to existing processes.
- Ability to deal with confidential information in a sensitive manner.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Post-Secondary education preferred
- Post-Secondary education training with a concentration in administration is preferred
- Ability to work in French and English would be an asset
