This position provides excellent customer service by collecting and delivering a variety of cargo in a courteous and prompt manner. When not driving, will perform general warehouse duties and customer assistant.
Driving
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the safe, secure, and timely handling of all scheduled deliveries and pickups
- Maintains records of deliveries and pickups.
- Follows gasoline expenditure and accident reporting procedures.
- Exposure to toxic chemicals, infectious diseases, moving objects, sharp objects, electrical hazards and bodily fluids.
- Risk of back injuries.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Completed high school, or equivalent, plus specialized courses of up to six (6) months.
- Police Information Check (PIC)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract showing proof of clean driving record.
- One year of prior related experience is an asset.
- Ability to use computers and related technology (i.e., Outlook, WORD, creating and managing EXCEL spreadsheets).
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicle
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular
- Strong time management skills and able to prioritize
- Able to work both independently and in conjunction with a
