The Opportunity
RVS invites you to apply for a temporary, full-time (1.0 FTE) Elementary Generalist (Grade 6) teaching position starting immediately until December 20, 2024 (with the possibility of extension) at Herons Crossing School. Herons Crossing School, located in the City of Airdrie, and serves students from grades K-8. Information regarding this school may be found at https://herons.rockyview.ab.ca/.
This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.
The successful can didate must possess, or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education at www.alberta.ca/teacher-certification .
Pre-employment Requirements
The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of your employment
