We have an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Sewer to join our team in Saint John, NB.

As an Industrial Sewer, you will be responsible for...

• Assisting all departments within Hydraulics, Rigging, and Rubber
• Cutting material, sewing nylon slings, and measuring webbing
• Operating asset management program & windows applications
• Some light to medium lifting is required

As an Industrial Sewer, your responsibilities will include cutting material & sewing nylon slings for custom orders. Restocking, scheduling production, packaging, and customer relations. Training will be provided. Some light to medium lifting is required.

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous sewing experience will be considered an asset
• Ability to work extra hours (evenings, weekends & on-call)
• Should have a mechanical aptitude, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills like data entry, email, etc
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment is necessary.
• Be able to work in a team environment and independently with a willingness to learn
• Strong time management skills and high attention to detail
• Able to accommodate role changes and new challenges
