AECOM is seeking a motivated and skilled Senior BIM Specialist to support the design and construction of buildings within the Buildings + Places business line.  This position could be based out of any of our major Canadian offices, with opportunities for hybrid work also available. 

AECOM Buildings + Places Canada (B+P Canada) is a vibrant and growing fully integrated team spanning architecture, all the building’s engineering disciplines, landscape architecture, urban planning, urban design, economics and asset management for design and infrastructure projects. 

Major Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for providing leadership and direction of specific BIM technologies to assigned project teams. 
• Develops technical solutions to wide range of difficult problems. 
• Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. 
• Perform complex assignments involving the use of multiple application platforms and complex systems including Revit software to achieve set results and deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum: 

• A University Degree plus 6 (six) years of experience with Building Information Modeling. 

Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, for example a Diploma/Certificate (Canada) plus 8 (eight) years of experience with Building Information Modeling, may be considered.

• Company paid relocation is not available for this position
• Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position
