RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).
Position Summary
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is undertaking a large-scale digital transformation project aimed at modernizing its HR, Finance, research services, and clinical trial management system applications. This major project will span several years and requires the expertise of a specialist in ERP implementation or digital transformation. This key position will play a central role in the modernization of systems and processes at the RI MUHC, helping to strengthen its position as a leading research institute

The incumbent will play a pivotal role in this transformation. This key position requires a specialist with extensive experience in ERP implementation and digital transformation, particularly in healthcare and research environments. The successful candidate will be instrumental in:

Education: Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Business Analytics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Work Experience: 5 years

Other Requirements
Status : Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education & work experience. $60,860.80 – $113,003.80.
Work Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Work Site: GLEN Site, 1001 boul. Decarie

Role
The incumbent will play a pivotal role in this transformation. This key position requires a specialist with extensive experience in ERP implementation and digital transformation, particularly in healthcare and research environments. The successful candidate will be instrumental in:
- System Analysis and Requirements Gathering,
- Process Modeling and Optimization,
- System Configuration and Setup,
- User Training and Documentation,
- Deployment and Production Support,
- Stakeholder Collaboration,
- Technology Watch and Continuous Improvement.
- Participate in needs analysis and drafting of requests for proposals for selecting new solutions,
- Model and document current processes while formulating optimization recommendations,
- Configure and set up new systems according to the specific needs of the RI-MUHC,
- Prepare documentation and provide training to users,
- Support teams during deployment and production launch,
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure project success,
- Conduct technology watch and propose continuous improvements.
- Relevant education in management, administration, computer science, or related field,
- Experience in implementing ERP systems in healthcare/research environments,
- Excellent project management and change management skills,
- Ability to understand business issues and translate them into technological solutions,
- Essential French/English bilingualism,
- Knowledge of the clinical research environment (asset).
- Successfully deliver project milestones on time and within budget,
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks that could impact timelines or budget,
- Maintain an up-to-date project plan with clear dependencies and critical paths,
- Demonstrate ability to translate business requirements into effective technological solutions,
- Successfully integrate cross-departmental requirements into cohesive solutions,
- Apply relevant healthcare/research knowledge to project decisions and recommendations,
- Stay updated with ERP trends and successfully integrate new knowledge into project strategies.

- Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
- Coordinate work of other employees who hold different jobs,
- Writing texts memoranda, or reports with the purpose of summarizing complex and elaborate questions or plainly explaining highly technical elements,
- Excellent documentation skills to ensure traceability of configurations and changes,
- Ability to think innovatively, make significant changes and catalyze continuous improvements,
- Experience with ERP migration is a must,
- Previous experience with ERP systems, ideally in the healthcare sector,
- Experience of applying a broad range of techniques within the business analysis skillset to resolve problems and clarify requirements in a complex environment with multiple
- Exposure to senior stakeholders and to strategic projects and programs,
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship skills,
- Recognized leadership,
- Ability to synthesize, analyze and solve problems,
- Ability to multi-task on many projects at the same time and to work with an agile team,
- Good sense of organization, methodical and strong time management,
- Client focus and emphasis on user experience,
- Ability to structure and lead meetings with multidisciplinary and multi-level stakeholders,
