The incumbent will be responsible for completing assigned projects to improve the Client Experience in branches and call centres by integrating change management best practices and working with cross-functional teams.

The incumbent will also contribute to optimizing the processes of Personal Banking Services (PBS) spanning the entire sales cycle, from opening to closing products, as well as related activities in order to boost the Bank’s profitability.

Responsabilities

Project identification, planning and management

  • Actively participates in the alignment of assigned projects, ensuring that they are focused on the Bank’s strategic pillars including profitability and the simplification of internal processes.
  • Analyzes and documents project impacts and business needs and recommends the best way to operationalize based on project constraints/dependencies.
  • Is responsible for the documentation (mapping, procedures and forms) of their assigned projects.
  • Is responsible for project methodology (documentation for reports, AERisk, kick-off, post-mortem, etc.)
  • Recommends strategies and ensures deployment across the various sectors.
  • Sees to project execution, deployment coordination, timelines and evolution.

Continuous improvement and innovation

  • Proposes and implements innovations and best practices that improve project management.
  • Optimizes business processes that directly impact the Client Experience in order to increase efficiency and performance.
  • Gathers feedback from client-facing teams in order to adjust strategies and identify continuous improvements at the branch, Client experience and operational levels, and facilitates implementation of such improvements.

Change management planning and deployment

  • Leads the development and implementation of change management strategies for branches and the Telebanking Centre for projects under their responsibility.
  • Positions change management as a key driver to improve the employee experience (buy-in) in assigned projects.
  • Works with managers and stakeholders to ensure change initiatives meet organizational standards and objectives.

Stakeholder engagement

  • Strengthens collaboration between support teams, IT functions, and management, ensuring seamless communication to align objectives with client needs.
  • Advises and influences management on all projects and action plans to be implemented. Acts as an advisor to various corporate stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates leadership and political acumen to foster buy-in among all sectors of a project.
  • Acts as an advisor and go-to reference for the sales force.

Cross-functional communication

  • Handles communication with the branch network and the Telebanking Centre via existing channels and reviews short-term methods to integrate change management.
  • Represents the sales force (branches and Telebanking Centre) at cross-sector working groups.

Qualifications

  • Between 5 and 7 years of experience in strategic/corporate project management in a banking environment with a focus on improving the Client Experience.
  • Experience in personal services and in banking transactions, an asset.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at different levels (sales force, leadership, etc.).
  • Demonstrated communication, project management and leadership skills in a bilingual (French and English) environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to manage priorities and work on multiple projects at the same time (multitasking).
  • Strong persuasion/leadership skills.
  • Organizational skills and a self-driven approach to learning.
  • Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
