A Carpenter is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This includes building frameworks, partitions, stairways, cabinets, and doors. Carpenters must have a good understanding of construction methods, blueprints, and safety protocols to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
- Construction and Installation: Construct, install, and repair wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, shelves, and stairways.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements, measurements, and materials.
- Measure and Cut Materials: Accurately measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to meet specific project needs.
- Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials (wood, plywood, metal, or other composites) based on project specifications and budget.
- Joinery: Use various carpentry techniques, such as joinery, trimming, and molding, to create sturdy and precise finishes.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Tool Operation: Safely operate hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and sanders to complete tasks efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure that products are at company standards
- Maintenance: Maintain carpentry tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks on finished products and make necessary adjustments to achieve desired results.
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role in construction.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Good mathematical skills to measure and calculate dimensions accurately.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift, carry, and move heavy materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certification or apprenticeship in carpentry.
- Familiarity with both traditional and modern carpentry methods.
- Experience with other construction trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing) is a plus.
