Position: Radiologist
Location: Alberta, Canada
Job Type: Full-time
Duties
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds.
- Provide precise interpretations of imaging results for accurate diagnoses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct physical examinations when necessary to evaluate patient conditions.
- Maintain detailed, compliant records of patient interactions and diagnostic findings.
- Participate in urgent care scenarios, delivering timely evaluations and interventions.
- Support public health initiatives related to radiological practices and patient education.
- Stay current with advancements in radiology technology and methodologies, including electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Offer consultations in specialized fields, including addiction medicine, pediatric cardiology, pain management, and other areas of expertise.
- Medical Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Radiology is preferred.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation and advanced imaging techniques.
- Familiarity with medical coding practices for radiological services.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail in interpreting imaging results.
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills for team-based care.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations in urgent care settings.
- Commitment to professional development and adherence to Canadian healthcare standards.
