Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team provide Administrative and Client service to our Print environment.
- Knowledge of Canon products is a requirement.
- Canon Secure Print
- Canon Uniflow
- Canon Share Scan
- Canon printer hardware/software configuration
- Ensure client print environment stability.
- Engage with Clients as required and ensure a high level of client satisfaction
- Basic Printer hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Engagement with client vendors to arrange on site repairs throughout the environment.
- Troubleshooting to identify and resolve root cause of malfunctions at the deskside, Server and Software level
- Test for nominal operation of devices post-deployment
- Follow documentation and direction as required
- Provide proper and prompt updates to operational, knowledge and project documentation.
- Participate in Site specific operational and project planning and coordination.
- Liase with Client leadership and Client Corporate leadership as required.
- Ensure timely and accurate inventory management
- Participate in software evaluation and deployment with Application Stewards and project teams.
- Participating in the 'On Call' rotation
- Provide detailed reporting of corporate activities and projects to leadership as requested.
- Provide detailed weekly summary documentation for alternate shift members
- A college or university education within Electronics or Computer Sciences or Equivalent
- 5 years of experience with Printer hardware/software, Print specific desktop troubleshooting and upgrades
- Previous experience completing complex Installs, moves, adds, changes of computer and Printer equipment
- Enhanced knowledge with Canon hardware/software. Canon specific certifications an asset.
- Windows Operating System proficiency ideally in Windows 10 / Windows 11
- ServiceNow Ticketing system experience or equivalent ticketing systems.
- Effective written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Critical and innovative thinking to resolve onsite and remote issues and future planning
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, liaise with project team leaders
- Availability for escalated work assignments in the evening and on weekends as needed
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. regularly
- A+ Certification an asset
- First Aid / CPR certifications considered an asset
