What You Will D
o:In this unionized position of Administrator, Contracts, you will play an essential role within our Finance Department. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited t
- o:Preparing contracts utilizing standard contract template
- s;Determining most effective method for obtaining services (RFP, sole awards etc.
- );Identifying, reviewing, and mitigating financial, legal, and commercial risk
- s;Negotiating with contractors and suppliers within legal parameter
- s;Maintaining database
- s;Leading and developing various documents and bid evaluation
- s;Providing Supply Chain management advice as required; a
- ndTracking cost savings and benefit

What You Will Bri
ng:Required qualificatio
- ns:A diploma in business administration or related discipline with courses in contracts and contracts law OR a Supply Management Training (SMT) diploma OR SCMP Designation or equivalent;
- andMore than five (5) years’ experience in purchasing of services and contrac
ts.Preferred skills and qualificatio
- ns:Membership with a professional organization (SCMP) preferr
- ed;Intermediate JDE experien
- ce;Intermediate MS Applications, including SharePoi
- nt;Solid understanding of legal contractual concep
