LANDSCAPE/SNOW REMOVAL MANAGER

Gulf Operators Limited is a civil contractor experienced in all aspects of civil work including concrete work, excavation, water and sewer, as well as aggregate production and sales.

We are currently accepting applications for a Landscape/Snow Removal Manager to join our team in Saint John, New Brunswick.

Responsibilities

• Creating job plans and coordinating equipment and resources
• Directing on-site crews
• Operating power equipment including, but not limited to, lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pickup trucks with snow plow and spreader, power rakes, aerators, etc.
• Communicating with clients and team members in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensuring jobs are done in compliance with safety policies and procedures
• Estimating landscape and snow removal operations
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Technical/College Diploma in Horticulture an asset
• Superior communication and problem-solving skills
• A high attention to detail and excellent organization skills
• Strong physical amplitude to perform manual labour tasks required
• Experience operating various types of snow plowing equipment
• Knowledge of cultivation, diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plant treatment options.
