Arconic is currently in search of Production Laborer to join our team in Lethbridge.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Helper will be responsible for various tasks. This includes measuring, cutting, and fabrications as well as operating machines. All Production Helpers are expected to be available to work in all areas of Production and on day, afternoon or night shift. The Production Helper will also be responsible for increasing productivity, working alongside fellow peers and creating a positive work environment.

The starting wage for this position is $17.05.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language
  • Be reliable, motivated, organized and be able to work in a dynamic fast-paced team-driven environment
  • Intrinsically motivated – drive comes from within
  • Ensure adherence to all safety policies, procedures and practices
  • Be able to comfortably lift up to 50 lbs consistently for eight (8) hours
  • Be able to read a tape measure
  • Be willing to work overtime when required
  • Must be able to work both independently & in a team setting
  • Have a commitment to quality and efficiency
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Working with Power Tools and Machinery
  • Experience in the use of hand tools

Qualifications

The desired candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Must possess good interpersonal and excellent communication skills
  • Possess the ability to understand and follow oral and written procedures
  • Must be a responsible & reliable individual
  • Must be legally eligible to work full time in Canada
