SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all manual machining tasks using milling machines, lathes, grinders, drills, etc.
- Maintaining close tolerances using high accuracy measuring tools and techniques
- Perform all manual hand tool operations
- Perform some bench and floor assembly with the use of manufactured and purchased components
- Maintain and track shop inventory levels
- Maintain all shop equipment and keep all areas of the shop clean and organized at all times
- Fill out inspection reports as required.
- Track and record time sheets
- Track and record all expenses such as job costs and travel
- React to emergency and short lead customer requirements
- Assist in the quoting process of manufactured parts
- Good communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels and work as a member of a team
- 3 years experienced in all aspects of manual machining
- Certificate of qualification as a General Machinist, Tool and Die Maker or Machine Tool Builder/ Integrator
- Proficient in blueprint reading with an emphasis on understanding GT&D.
