As an HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to branch leadership teams, providing guidance on a wide range of Human Resources matters and will work closely with senior leaders to understand their business strategies and priorities, and develop Human Resources solutions to support their goals.

As an HR Business Partner, you will be a trusted advisor to branch leadership teams, providing guidance on a wide range of Human Resources matters and will work closely with senior leaders to understand their business strategies and priorities, and develop Human Resources solutions to support their goals.
What Will You Do?
- Lead and participate in the implementation of corporate Human Resources projects, programs and initiatives
- Develop and build strong relationships, influence decision-making, and drive results
- Provide strategic Human Resources consulting and advice to branch leadership teams
- Support the implementation of Employee Services programs
- Conduct workforce analysis and research
- Develop and deliver presentations to diverse audiences
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Perform other related duties as required
- Knowledge, training and/or education in Arts, Business, Human Resources, Labour/Industrial Relations, or a related field
- Experience in human resources, organizational development, and project management, including providing strategic Human Resources consulting services and advice to senior management
- Experience in implementing complex, strategic, and corporate-wide initiatives while managing multi-disciplinary projects
- Accreditation or training in project management, including a PMP designation, change management designation, and Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation
- Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into Human Resources solutions
- Exceptionally organized and able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
- Ability to effectively interact, communicate, influence and collaborate with a variety of partners and stakeholders including senior management, staff at all levels, union representatives, City Council, businesses, government agencies and other organizations
- Sound judgement and the ability to manage highly confidential and sensitive issues with solid business and political acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and put abstract thoughts into concrete ideas
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Experience developing and managing complex, multi-dimensional relationships

- Possible Permanent and/or Temporary (up to 11 months) position(s)
- Hours of work: 36.9 hours per week, Monday - Friday. This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement with the flexibility to work from both home and the worksite.
- This position is eligible for the EDO program (Earned Day Off)
- Salary Range: $89,766 - $128,237 (Annually)
