Job Description

As a Public Relations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our PR department with various tasks aimed at enhancing the company's image and public perception. You will work closely with our PR team to execute media strategies, coordinate communication efforts, and help maintain strong relationships with clients and the media.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials
  • Support the PR team in creating and implementing media campaigns
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to organize events, conferences, and press briefings
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on PR campaign performance
  • Manage inquiries from the public and media
  • Maintain up-to-date contact lists for journalists and other media professionals
  • Help with internal communications, including newsletters and announcements
  • Perform other administrative tasks related to the PR department


Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to multitask and handle various projects simultaneously
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Prior experience in public relations or communications is an asset
