As a member of LandSolutions, you’ll be part of an exceptional culture and play a vital role in supporting industries across Oil and Gas (Upstream and Midstream), Renewable Energy, Public Infrastructure, Power (Generation and Transmission), and Telecommunications. Supported by a team of over 140 dedicated professionals across Canada and the U.S., we are leaders in land access solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment, Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Lead the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and identify top talent.
  • Coordinate offer letters, pre-employment checks, and new hire orientations for a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date employee records.

Health & Safety

  • Support our Health & Safety program, ensuring alignment with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of Health & Safety policies.
  • Oversee compliance on ISNetworld and other regulatory platforms.
  • Facilitate safety training and conduct thorough incident investigations and follow-ups.

Benefits Administration

  • Oversee employee benefit programs, including health insurance, RRSPs, Health Spending Accounts, and wellness initiatives.
  • Respond to employee benefits inquiries and ensure accurate enrollments and updates.
  • Collaborate with providers to resolve issues and ensure benefits are competitive and compliant.

General HR Support

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employment letters and general inquiries.
  • Contribute to employee engagement, retention initiatives, and HR metrics reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. employment laws and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources.
  • 3-5 years of HR experience, with a strong background in Health & Safety, Recruitment, and Benefits.
  • Knowledgeable in Canadian and U.S. employment laws and compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage health and safety standards in a cross-border context.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software (experience with UKG is an asset).
