  • Responsible for carrying out of various general labour duties using a variety of hand tools and motorized equipment in a safe, competent, and efficient manner, all of which contribute to the overall function and operation of the overall facility.
  • Operate general purpose trucks of 5-ton or less (without air brakes)
  • Ability to operate a forklift, man-lift, scissor lift, skid-steer loader, and tractor
  • Delivery of goods on, and off plantsite
  • Understanding of the Laborer roles, responsibilities and accountabilities and has demonstrated their ability to competently fulfill these requirements
  • 5-10 Years experience in a similar role
  • High School Diploma or recognized equivalent
  • Provincial Vehicle Operating License (Alberta)
  • Fully trained to operate a forklift, man-lift, scissor lift, skid-steer loader, and tractor
  • Operate crane and perform very simple rigging work in a competent manner
  • Safe truck loading and unloading practices for gas cylinders, drums and general parts
  • Safe use of snow removal equipment (Plow-truck, Sanding-truck, backpack blower, etc.)
  • General knowledge of machine lubricants and steps taken to complete oil changes on equipment
  • General knowledge of Safe Work Permitting requirements
