Position Overview:
The Sales Representative / Territory Manager at ADL Foodservice is responsible for growing sales, building strong customer relationships, and managing a defined territory. This role combines direct sales with strategic account management, ensuring current customers are supported while exploring new business opportunities. Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external clients.
Division: ADL Foodservice, 400 Read Drive, Summerside, PE
Compensation and Benefits:
· $60,000 – $65,000 per year plus milage and expense reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management:
· Source and onboard new profitable accounts while maintaining relationships with existing customers to grow sales and profit margins.
· Regularly meet with clients to understand their needs, introduce new products, and resolve issues efficiently.
Strategic Sales Growth:
· Work closely with brokers, suppliers, purchasing, inside sales, and logistics to deliver top-tier service and manage customer requirements.
· Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to adapt sales approaches and offer valuable insights.
Market Presence:
· Be an ambassador for ADL Foodservice by representing the brand in client interactions and promoting new product lines to strengthen market presence.
Reporting and Collaboration:
· Provide regular updates on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to the Foodservice Manager. Collaborate on strategies for growth and improvement.
Qualifications:
· Proven experience in sales, ideally within foodservice or a related field.
· Degree or diploma in Business or a related discipline (preferred).
· Valid driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and willingness to use a personal vehicle for travel
· Strong skills in communication, time management, and problem-solving.
· Competent with MS Office; familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is an asset.
· Bilingual skills are an advantage.
· Knowledge of the dairy or broader foodservice industry is a plus.
· Flexible schedule to accommodate client needs.
