The Opportunity: The Change Management Specialist (CMS) is responsible for developing and leading comprehensive change management strategies to support CSFS’ transition to new governance and service delivery models, with a focus on child and family services. This role will implement culturally specific and safe change methodologies to guide inclusive and sustainable transitions across programs and departments. Working closely with senior leadership, departments, and key partners, the CMS will foster employee engagement, ensure alignment with organizational values, and drive effective transformation across all levels.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Develop and implement agency-wide change management strategies aligned with cultural and industry standards, supporting the implementation of new processes, structures, and systems across all programs.
- Collaborate with leadership, employees, Indigenous communities, and key partners to ensure alignment and consensus on change initiatives, while managing transparent communication and providing strategic advice to senior leadership.
- Facilitate the design and delivery of training programs, provide ongoing support to employees and partners, and monitor the progress of change initiatives, ensuring sustainability and encouraging new behaviours throughout the organization.
What You Will Bring To The Role
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Development, Business, or Human Resources is required, with additional credentials in Change Management (e.g., CCMP, CMC) and/or Project Management (PMP) as assets.
- 5+ years of experience leading, designing, and implementing organizational change and transformation initiatives within complex organizations.
- Familiarity with Indigenous, government, or social services sectors, with experience or a background working alongside Indigenous organizations or communities is preferred.
- The ability to engage effectively and respectfully with diverse populations, particularly within Indigenous communities, demonstrating cultural awareness and sensitivity in change initiatives.
