The individual will be responsible for
The individual will be responsible for
- Planning of work orders and creation of work order plans in SAP
- Attach relevant approved drawings, procedures, and forms to work orders
- Work with Maintenance, Operation's, and Reliability representatives to ensure proper troubleshooting of equipment issues
- Ownership of assigned work during execution stage
- Ensure outside contractor requirements are identified and contact contractors and manufacturers to arrange work when required. Inform Contractor Coordinator of schedule for contractor
- Ordering of materials, entry of requisition in SAP and assurance of parts availability
- 5+ years of Manufacturing Experience
- Holds relevant Alberta journeyman certification or technologist diploma.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal, listening and written skills, and basic computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word
- Experience with Maintenance methods and practices
- Incorporates high level of safety in all work plans
- Turnaround Execution as related to multidiscipline work
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Ability to prioritize steps to complete complex work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Maintenance KPI's around safety, shutdown maintenance performance and regular maintenance performance
- Experience with SAP software as related to maintenance in a manufacturing facility
- Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Ability to motivate and drive engagement in others
- Effective conflict resolution skills
