Starting Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour based on previous experience and education.
- Prepare, season, and cook food as directed, meeting special dietary instructions as required.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Provide direction to lower levelled Cooks as assigned.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Clean and maintain assigned station and overall kitchen through practicing good safety and sanitation.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
- Culinary degree OR 2 years of related work experience in a high volume kitchen environment
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
