At our Cascades in Calgary, AB you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging division of our team as the Production Scheduler:
- Implement and execute the plant's production plan to maximize available resources and optimize inventories.
- Plan material requirements and purchase requisitions to ensure timely supply of production materials.
- Communicate changes to the production schedule to the production planner and logistics department.
- Identify and propose alternative solutions to address production variances.
- Analyze production capacity and workload to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions for optimal resource utilization.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production planning processes, leveraging industry best practices and lean manufacturing principles.
- Track production metrics, analyze trends, and generate reports to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Maintain and manage short-term production scheduling to ensure quality customer service and maximize production yield.

You too, will put forward your strengths:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in planning or supply chain in the Manufacturing field.
- APIS Certification or other Supply Chain Management delegation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and resource management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborative spirit and customer-centric approach.
