About The Role

Our client in the public sector is seeking an Application Support Analyst for a 6+ month contract employment opportunity. This role will be focused on determining which end users/endpoints require their Oracle data subscription due to an ongoing audit taking place. If no longer needed, the last exercise will be to help remove Java applets from the users who no longer need it. The successful Application Support Analyst candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a history working with Oracle Java.

As An Application Support Analyst (contract), You Will

• Obtain reports from a Palisade Oracle Java Scan.
• Analyze to see why Java is on a workstation – validate reason for use.
• Communicate with users to determine if Java is required
• Remove Java from workstations that no longer require it.
• Track the status of all workstations with Java, including exceptions and justification

• Strong knowledge of application support and analysis
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience with Oracle Java
