As a Warehouse Manager your responsibilities include:
- Support a team of 4 Warehouse supervisors
- Manage the total movement, both inbound and outbound of product within de D.C.
- Control stock movement and accuracy, receiving, put away, stock location of supplier shipments, on time delivery, etc. in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Ensure solid communications with all personnel and with suppliers & customers.
- Ensure respect of key performance indicators.
- Ensure accurate and measurable processes and to foster continuous improvements at the DC.
- Participate in various committees, negotiate occasionally with freight carriers, participate in decision making process.
- Prepare reports, budgets;
- Manage health and safety at the DC.
- Ensure maintenance of warehouse equipment (i.e. lift trucks, etc.)
To join our team, you need:
- Community College degree and preferably a University degree in a related field;
- At least 10 years of experience in distribution, 5 in a management role;
- Solid computer skills;
- People management skills
- Solid organizational skills and control of procedures;
- Team player with demonstrated communication skills.
