Financial Controller

Your Daily Life

As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in the accounting and treasury management of our subsidiary Pavemetrics. Your mandate includes the accurate accounting of transactions related to the purchasing, sales and payroll cycles, while ensuring that internal control policies are respected. In addition, you and your team will work closely with the Director, Accounting Operations, to ensure the production of reliable and relevant financial information.

In This Role, You Will

• Review, balance sheet and results of the entity(ies) in its charge.
• Responsible for the accounting team, support in routine and month-end tasks.
• Analysis of actual results compared to budget.
• Support to the various managers in the budget process.
• Cash flow management.
• Responsible for the audit.
• Participate in the implementation of a new ERP (SAP S/4HANA).
• Responsible for calculating monthly deferred income.
• Validation and signing of payments.
• Payroll approval.
• Several Ad Hoc projects.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) and member of the CPA Order.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Experience in an accounting firm is an asset.
• Experience with international groups (asset)
• Full proficiency in accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (mainly Excel – intermediate/advanced level).
• Knowledge of the ERP system "SAP" (asset) or any other ERP.
• Bilingual.
• Hardworking and flexible in terms of schedule.
• Organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and work under pressure.
• Meticulousness and resourcefulness.
