Position: General Manager, Sales Application & Consulting Services AS400 - Remote

Overview

Join our esteemed company headquartered in Montreal as we seek an accomplished General Manager to lead our consulting and application services business unit. This remote position offers a competitive base salary of up to \(130,000, with an approximate total package of \)300,000 including corporate bonus and equity. Your leadership will play a critical role in helping clients maximize their investments in IBM solutions through innovative software solutions, ERP evolution, and managed services.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operations of the consulting and application services unit, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Develop and implement sales and market expansion strategies in collaboration with the EVP of Consulting Services.
• Engage with sales and customer engagement teams to align profitable solutions, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Oversee the operational integration between the application services and consulting teams, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Optimize manpower planning and resource allocation to maximize utilization and gross margins.
• Conduct feasibility and profitability analyses to ensure the delivery of the best customer business outcomes.
• Provide strategic direction on project management activities, including planning and resource management.
• Manage high-complexity assignments and maintain regular communication with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  
  

Required Skills

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in a combined sales, service delivery, and operations management role, preferably within the IBMi environment.
• Proven ability to set and achieve financial goals and metrics.
• Strong leadership experience in managing large, cross-functional teams focused on sales and solutions development.
• Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills, with a track record of developing strategic solutions.
• Proficient in communicating effectively with senior leadership and technical teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
