We are seeking a CAD Support Officer to work closely with the Service Desk and engineering application teams to provide technical solutions to incidents involving engineering applications. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Solve CAD specific technical issues, problems & answer questions raised by engineering staff through the Service Desk in their day-to-day activities. 
  • Ensure all incident and problem details and history are accurately logged to facilitate quick resolution, trend analysis and KPI reporting. 
  • Test and provide feedback around updates to engineering applications. 
  • Work closely with the Service Desk Team to ensure all CAD Workstations are standardised and fit for purpose. 
  • Identify potential improvements in the CAD system. 
  • Support the CAD Auditing process as required. 
  • Monitor license usages
  • Ensure all Support calls are assigned the appropriate specialist.

The ideal person will have experience working in an IT support role within an engineering company and have exposure to design software.
