A day in the life of a Specialist Meat Production:
The Specialty Meat Counter Clerk is responsible customer service and for the preparation and display of specialty meats
Become part of the team that offers our customers some of our best-selling products.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

Experience

• No previous experience required
• Knowledgeable of various cuts of meat an asset

Key Responsibilities

• Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations
• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
• Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with Safeway's programs
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with Safeway programs
• Use of commercial power equipment and knives
• Displays of specialty meats and seafood
• Preparing pre-made specialty meat products
• Receiving, stocking and rotating product
• Use of hand wrapper, and scale, pricing meats
• Cleaning and sanitizing
