Senior Analyst Capital Management

As a senior analyst in the capital management team at National Bank, you’ll be responsible for producing various capital measures. It is through your skills in finance, mathematics, or accounting, your experience with technological tools, and your ability to solve problems that you have a positive impact on the Bank and its shareholders.
Your role
- Be responsible for producing various capital measures and meeting regulatory requirements
- Rethink, improve, and automate production processes
- Enhance documentation related to the production of capital measures
- Interact with various stakeholders and enrich the team's knowledge base by proposing new approaches and solutions to issues and projects
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving the Bank's capital management capabilities
- Analyze regulatory capital consumption and the balance sheet and create decision-support reports using visualization tools
- Contribute to the assessment of impacts on capital ratios in relation to the Bank's various initiatives
Your team
Within the finance department, you are part of a team of 6 colleagues and report to the Senior Manager. Our team stands out for its teamwork and expertise.

Prerequisites
- Completed bachelor's degree in a related field and 3 to 4 years' relevant experience, OR completed master's degree in a related field and 1 to 2 years' relevant experience
- Any other combination of relevant experience could be considered
- Good knowledge of banking activities
- Experience in data analysis and programming (e.g. Python, VBA, SQL)
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Excellent ability to solve problems, find solutions and make recommendations
- Ability to summarize information and good judgment
