We are currently seeking a talented individual to join the Jack Hulland Elementary School (JHES) team. JHES acknowledges and respects, and are grateful for the opportunity to work, learn and play within the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. Jack Hulland Elementary is a Kindergarten to Grade 7 neighbourhood school aiming to foster a welcoming, safe, and inclusive educational environment; one where each student is supported to meet their full potential. This position provides an opportunity to work as a Permanent 0.3 FTE Library Clerk at JHES. We are in the process of creating a Library/Learning Commons in our school with the focus of creating a welcoming, regulating, and decolonizing space for all students.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience working in a library setting or similar environment;
• Experience performing routine clerical tasks such as tracking and data entry, photocopying, scanning and faxing, and filing/records management
• Experience working with the Dewey decimal classification system would be an asset.
• Experience working with youth of all ages would be an asset
