We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team at Canad Inns Destination Centre Club Regent. This role is pivotal in overseeing hotel operations, driving financial performance, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction. As a hands-on leader, you will guide Department Managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement, increased sales, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leadership & Management: Oversee all aspects of property operations, including all departments. Provide direction and support to Department Managers.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of guest service, revenue management, and adherence to corporate policies.
- Team Development: Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate staff. Support operational requirements through effective analysis and guidance.
- Health & Safety: Maintain the health and safety of guests and staff through training, communication, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all government regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Senior Executives and Vice Presidents to support the companys mission. Develop and implement plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Flexibility: Adapt your schedule to meet business demands, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the property.
Qualifications:
- CHA or Similar designation.
- Post-secondary designation in Hospitality management or a related discipline.
- 4 years of hospitality experience as a Manager.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and skills.
- Strong budgetary, projections and cost control skills.
- Ability to quickly evaluate alternatives and decide on a plan of action.
- Proven ability to lead a complex integrated business operation that has diverse profit centers.
