This position is:

On-site - working all 5 days per week in the Office

This will be a temporary role for 18 months.

Key responsibilities:

  • Developing new features and integrations for a variety of internal and external business platforms, including Wireline and Mobile provisioning platforms.
  • Working with clients to solve complex problems, providing options while ensuring they have the tailored solutions required to meet their objectives.
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Adhering to best-practices.
  • Contributing to the evolution of our software development practices and architecture.

Skills & qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary Degree in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge level with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experienced Java developer, familiar with java frameworks and libraries, such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
  • Demonstrated passion for quality software architecture and best practices.
  • Experience with using DevOps tools and methodologies (source control, unit testing, bug tracking, continuous integration.)
  • Experience with RDBMS databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle.
  • Team player with strong communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
