Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Plumber/Gas Fitter to join our team as a Propane Service Technician on a temporary, 8-month basis in Saskatoon, SK offering $27 - $42.96, depending on experience and ticket. This position may be extended or lead to permanent.
We are looking for a safety-minded individual with a General or Domestic Gas Fitting license to join our propane team! We offer consistent working hours, all required work gear, and a work area that will have you home every night.
What You’ll Do
The Team: You will work with other service technicians, propane drivers, and will report to the Propane Service Department Supervisor on a team that strives for a culture of customer service, safety, and work life balance.
The Customers: You will install equipment for and support customers in agricultural, commercial, and domestic markets while displaying a high-level of customer-focus, professionalism, and care.

What You’ll Do
- Present a positive image in customer service while installing propane tank systems and related equipment for various local customers.
- Conduct scheduled inspections for customers, filling plants and service trucks, assessing potential hazards and reporting as required.
- Operate a crane truck while following applicable standards during rigging, loading, securing, and transporting of tanks and other equipment.
- Adhere to all standard work procedures/policies, industry codes, and regulations, with a high standard of safety in all operations.
- Participate in an on-call program for emergency call outs on evenings and weekends to service customer needs as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- You have a General or Domestic Gas Fitter license.
- You have or are willing to obtain a Class 3A license.
- Are comfortable with physically demanding work such as pulling heavy hose equipment, moving cylinder tanks and other equipment with a minimum weight of 50lbs.
- Are familiar with computers and/or electronic log systems.
- Are a self-starter who works well independently with strong organizational and time management skills.
