Be a part of a revolutionary change.
Your fresh perspective and positive mindset can fuel our smoke-free future. You’ll collaborate on projects that matter and help us explore different commercial territories.
It’s the perfect start to your career and a great addition to your work experience as part of our field sales internship program.
About The Inkompass Field Sales
Inkompass is an internship program dedicated to finding the next generation of talents.
Rothmans, Benson & Hedges Inc. (“RBH”), a subsidiary of Philip Morris International, is looking for talented self-starters to be part of our Early Careers Program, a structured program anchored on RBH’s Talent Development Model designed to develop talent and accelerate their career progression.
We offer an opportunity to understand the commercial functioning of a company like ours. Our learning ecosystem under this program includes functional rotations, skill development, behavioral training, coaching and mentoring, and team collaboration on projects. You will build your knowledge and experience in the sales field by understanding and learning from others while performing key business roles.
Each student will get an immersive, exciting, and inspiring experience for personal growth, balance, and engagement. Develop a comprehensive understanding of commercial programs from strategy to execution, including both offline and digital communications and engagement. Gain exposure and experience through partnerships with headquarters-based sales and marketing functions.
Commercial
Develop consumer and trade understanding through direct engagement and exposure to consumers and retailers. Gain experience working with our field sales team and learn about sales office operations and processes.
Field Sales
You will introduce and support RBH products and services in all assigned accounts within the defined territory.
You will provide product education and support on all combustible and non-combustible brand families, support retailers, and participate in engagement programs.
You will have a direct impact on retail owners/managers and front-line staff to build engagement and support.
You will be responsible for managing and executing all assigned coverage, “Call to Action” activities, compliance with commercial agreements, and an assigned territory budget with set parameters.
Work on the expansion of RBH’s smoke-free product portfolio through direct communication with owners/managers and front-line staff to create awareness of our smoke-free vision.
Leverage your relationships within your assigned stores to build a successful network that will result in increased product awareness among legal-age nicotine users who have expressed an interest in learning more about Rothmans Benson & Hedges.
Who We’re Looking For
Students in their second, third or fourth year of studies, in relevant fields, including, but not limited to, business, marketing, and management.
Talent with a strong interest in sales and branding, communication, and marketing, the drive and curiosity to learn, and the ability to work well with others.
We’re looking for people who love working with adult consumers and achieving and exceeding expectations when it comes to established goals.
This position is 100% field based. We’re looking for candidates who are okay with working out in the field, attending industry events, and managing relationships with real clients.
You must have access to a car, at least one (1) year of driving experience, and a valid driver’s license because you will be required to travel for this position like a regular field sales employee.
You need to be eligible to work in Canada, including international students and refugees.
What We Offer
Our success depends on our talented employees who come to work here every single day with a sense of purpose and an appetite for progress.
Seize the freedom to shape your future and ours. We’ll empower you to take risks, experiment, and explore. Understand the functioning of a large field sales force. Develop your communication skills, your client approach, and your business vision.
Be part of an inclusive, diverse culture, where everyone’s contribution is respected; collaborate with some of the world’s best people and feel like you belong.
Pursue your ambitions and develop your skills with a global business – our staggering size and scale provide endless opportunities to progress.
