Multi-Family Superintendent (Stacked Rowhome Focus)

MatchBox Consulting Group is looking for a Superintendent in Calgary, AB.

Our client, was established nearly 40 years ago, and has evolved from a small home builder into a leading organization with diverse operations in home building, land development, residential rentals, commercial assets, and real estate lending. With a strong entrepreneurial foundation, the company has steadily expanded its reach and industry presence.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily construction operations to ensure projects meet timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Plan and manage all construction phases from start to move-in, ensuring timely, budget-compliant home delivery.
• Implement and manage on-site safety programs and conduct ongoing project maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Oversee subcontractor management, including scheduling, inspections, quality control, and work approvals.
• Manage materials by scheduling deliveries, checking accuracy, and ensuring correct installation.
• Engage in talent management through recruiting, goal setting, coaching, team building, and providing development feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Over 5 years of experience in residential construction management with a volume builder (10+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of building and safety code requirements.
• Experience in or pursuing a Carpentry apprenticeship.
• Journeyman ticket in plumbing, electrical, or heating is an asset.
• Proven industry expertise and compliance with construction standards.
• Flexibility to consider both senior and mid-level candidates with relevant experience.
