How You'll Perform The Role
The holder of the Quality Team Leader position is mainly responsible for supervising the monitoring of procedures and sampling, quality control of raw materials, products in progress and finished products. Responsible for the integrity of documentation so that all elements are in compliance with the SQF standard and the food safety management system.

How You'll Perform The Role
The holder of the Quality Team Leader position is mainly responsible for supervising the monitoring of procedures and sampling, quality control of raw materials, products in progress and finished products. Responsible for the integrity of documentation so that all elements are in compliance with the SQF standard and the food safety management system.
Duties and Responsibilities
- The incumbent organizes and supervises the daily activities of the laboratories, including the approval of the quality of current products and the application of new regulations;
- Maintain the quality system, its development and updating, in accordance with the various quality programs (SQF and GMP) including: staff training, management of internal and external audits, monitoring of non-conformities, monitoring of continuous improvement projects, etc. Ensure certificates are obtained;
- Responsible for the laboratory technician, structuring schedules and managing priorities.
- Responsibility to decide, in the event of a suspicious product in finished products, raw materials and products in process, whether it will be quarantined.
- Participate in the implementation of 5S
- Coordinates the FSC (Forestry) and CTPAT programs and ensures compliance with the programs internally;
- Internal Audits: Implement an in-depth audit which will be spread over the year. Every month an in-depth process.
- Ensure that policies and procedures under his/her supervision follow food safety policies and instructions so that HACCP and SQF food safety standards are met.
- Ensure that the policies and procedures under his supervision respect the norms and standards relating to occupational health and safety
- All other related tasks
- Lean Manufacturing experience and knowledge
- Experience in troubleshooting and problem solving (critical & sense of urgency)
- Bilingual (essential)
- Autonomous and results-oriented
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Experience in the field of flexible packaging
- Mandatory experience of the SQF standard
