CC&L Private Capital has a significant opportunity to capture new business in the direct high net worth and not-for-profit market, as well as through partnerships with the independent financial advisor community. High level job accountabilities include:
The ideal candidate will be a successful salesperson with strong industry experience interested in using their existing network to establish a practice at CC&L Private Capital. They will pursue business development activities directly with high-net-worth individuals and not-for-profits, or by way of independent financial advisors. This individual will also be experienced in client servicing and be able to step into this role immediately with clients of the firm as needed. With a strong foundation of training and coaching, this individual will be open to this support and gaining success more quickly as a result. While driven by independence, the candidate will fit within our entrepreneurial spirited culture and work well alongside colleagues Key attributes will be:

- You will represent one of Canada’s largest, employee-owned investment managers with an incredibly strong reputation where you can own part of the business and be personally aligned with clients

- You will focus on attracting and retaining clients by ensuring a boutique service offering and wealth planning tailored to their family aspirations

CC&L Private Capital has a significant opportunity to capture new business in the direct high net worth and not-for-profit market, as well as through partnerships with the independent financial advisor community. High level job accountabilities include:
- Building your own practice of new clients through appropriate business development activities sourced from within your ever-growing network
- Building and maintaining relationships with lawyers, accountants, and other centres-of-influence, including independent financial advisors as referral partners
- Maintaining client relationships throughout varying market and performance conditions by providing clients with proactive and exceptional service
- Establishing immediate credibility with successful, sophisticated high net worth clients when assessing suitability, guiding asset allocation, conveying asset class understanding, leading wealth planning, and other financial advisory conversations

- An aptitude for business development, sales and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and a high level of integrity
- Natural relationship building and networking skills
- Great communicator with excellent presentation abilities
- Deep understanding of financial markets and investment management
- Ability to guide clients in an investment suitability assessment
- An interest to build an asset with unlimited upside with significant autonomy
- Five to ten years of related industry experience
- Preference of having current registration or confidence to gain AAR or CRM-AR registration with the appropriate Securities Commissions on hire
- Undergraduate degree; CIM + 2 years Registered Investment Management Experience or CFA required
