What will your typical day look like?
As an Analyst, Business Development, your primary role will be to support and coordinate the administration related to client opportunities identified through RFPs, sole-source, and Offer of Services. This will require you to research, organize ideas, and utilize existing content to prepare proposals in response to identified opportunities that align with our areas of expertise. You will work closely with the Senior Consultant, Business Development to achieve this. This position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, efficiency, critical thinking and problem-solving efforts to support a high-quality proposal submission that aligns with defined project scope and objectives. You will ensure timely delivery of successful proposals by leveraging strong project coordination and efficient task management skillsets. This position requires you to be detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, computer and organizational skills, and be a self-starter.
The successful candidate will be involved daily in the identification and critical review of relevant RFP’s and opportunities for business development. This will include viewing a selection of available RFPs shared through the Deloitte system, coordinate and undertake the administrative elements required to support the final submissions for RFP responses, sole-sourced proposals, and offer of services for potential future business opportunities.
The role of the Analyst, Business Development is pivotal to the success of our business. The incumbent will play an important role in administrative coordination between the Senior Consultant – business development, and internal departments that support proposal approval and submissions, as required.

The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $78,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program. Required Skills/Knowledge:
- conduct original research to find relevant bid opportunities across sources
- maintain a comprehensive tracking system to track all bids submitted, won, lost, etc.
- work collaboratively to support proposal development
- coordinate submission, meeting all documented requirements as outlined in RFP
- inform on continuous improvement practices to maximize submission quality
- write in clear language, with a persuasive tone
- verbal and written communications are clear, concise, and effective
- support document preparation - edit and merge work into one document
- effectively manage time understanding multiple proposal deadlines
- multi-task and prioritize duties
- understand and be committed to following and informing on efficient processes
- solve practical problems
- proficiently use MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, and other collaborative applications would be an asset
- demonstrated experience in proposal coordination/ writing is a strong asset
- knowledge of economic development or related fields is a strong asset

- A minimum of post-secondary in a field related to Administration, Project Coordination
