Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Data Science Intern to join our Distribution Centre team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage advanced analytics and artificial intelligence to optimize our supply chain processes. You will collaborate with our operations and inventory teams to drive automation and efficiency within our distribution centers (DC) and transportation networks.

- Utilize advanced analytics techniques to analyze data and identify opportunities for process automation within our supply chain operations.
- Explore and evaluate potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) within the DC and transportation sectors to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions for reporting, analysis, and process optimization.
- Work closely with operations and inventory teams to advance the optimization of automated processes and drive automation within the DC.
- Research and identify future opportunities for improving our warehouse and distribution processes.
- Embrace a digital mindset to explore and execute innovative solutions that enhance our supply chain operations.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics is a plus.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
$17.90 - $29.03
