Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Truck Driver to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. The role involves operating a variety of vehicles and equipment for waste collection and transportation. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving abstract, strong work ethic, and be committed to a long-term role with the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate garbage trucks and other specialized vehicles to collect and transport garbage, recycling, and waste materials.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, refueling, and cleaning of equipment.
• Secure special attachments and operate equipment safely and effectively for designated tasks.
• Pick up and transport recycling waste from city locations and dump loads at designated sites.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (Class 3 or equivalent) with a clean abstract.
• Experience operating garbage trucks and other specialized equipment is preferred.
• Ability to conduct routine maintenance and inspections of vehicles.
• Strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
